✈️ Precision Under Pressure — AIESL Base Maintenance Delivers for IndiGo
When IndiGo's VT-IWY came into our Delhi Base Maintenance facility on 13 July 2026 for Airbus AOT A55N004-25 on the rudder, our team was ready for every contingency.
On removal, the rudder weight fell outside AOT limits — triggering a Technical Request to Airbus.
Following Airbus-approved instructions, our engineers carried out paint thickness measurement, paint stripping, and repainting, bringing the rudder back within specified limits. The same rudder was successfully reinstalled, with several rudder fittings also replaced for good measure.
After all inspections and functional checks were completed, VT-IWY received its Certificate of Release to Service on 22 July 2026 — back in the skies, safe and sound. ✅
